David Lynn is a tenor hailing from Ballina, Co. Mayo. Following a Music Applied degree from Dundalk Institute of Technology, David began to study classical singing with Stephen Wallace in the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, and following tuition, applied for the Masters (MMus). He finished the Masters in 2014 with the tutelage of Stephen Wallace and Trudi Carberry.
David has been involved in many operatic productions in Ireland, including chorus with Lyric Opera (Aida, La Traviata), NI Opera (Flying Dutchman, Macbeth, Elixir of Love, Magic Flute), OTC (Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, Rigoletto). He also got the chance to play Rodolfo in Opera Scenes with DIT Conservatory, David also recently made his RTE Concert Orchestra debut, singing the role of Father in Weill's Seven Deadly Sins. Upcoming engagements for David include Flying Dutchman (Opera North), Percy Anna Bolena (Yorke Trust), andTurandot (NI Opera), also covering the role of Pang.
David is also in demand as a singer for weddings, corporate events, and ceremonies all over Ireland, and has gained a reputation as one of the most entertaining corporate entertainers with his work with Niall Morris' Opera Singing Waiters.
